Jake Shrum headed back to Prague, Czechoslovakia, Feb. 15 to begin his fourth season playing football with the Prague Panthers. The 1999 Mountain Home High School graduate played college football at Montana-Western in Dillon, Mont., and spent two more years there as a graduate assistant in football. Over four years ago, Shrum got a call from former Mountain Home Tiger football coach John Srholec asking him if he would like to play for him in Czechoslovakia...

The 10th Annual Women's History Banquet, hosted by the Mountain Home Historical Society, will be held on Saturday, March 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the new Elks Lodge. Students at Richard McKenna Charter School broke a $1,000 goal to raise money for the school's new wind turbine during their recent fundraiser. Frank Renzie Adams, 18, of Mountain Home, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 20, 2010, after passing away at a Boise hospital.
