Byron Donald Grubb, 88, of Mountain Home, passed away on Thursday August 6, 2009 at his home. A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday August 13, 2009, at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel...

David Wayne Swenson, 52, of Mountain Home passed away at a Boise hospital on August 5, 2009. A memorial service was held Monday August 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Military Honors were by the American Legion, Post 26 of Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

This tradition is coming to an end, and sad to see another great tradition end, due to liability, and lack of participation. Unfortunately, lack of participation was evident, with only one wagon crossing. As for liability, so much care is taken to insure the participants, that I do not feel liability should ever be an issue...
