Pedestrian hit by car on interstate

A Magna, Utah, woman suffered a broken leg when she was hit by a car while walking on the Interstate at milepost 99 Saturday night. NCO drowns in private pool July 4

A 41-year-old NCO from Mountain Home AFB, Richard Caron, died when he apparently drowned in a private swimming pool in Mountain Home Saturday evening. Caron had been one of several people who had gathered at a home located at 695 E. 13th North St. to celebrate the Fourth of July. A memorial service will be held at Hanger 1331 at Mountain Home Air Force Base, on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 9 a.m. Inurnment will be held in Brooksville, Fla., at a later date.
