An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held June 23 and 25 at the Mountain Home Senior Center, 1000 North 3rd East St. The class starts at noon on both days and costs $14 to cover administrative expenses. There is a discount for AARP members. The eight-hour class was designed for drivers over 50 but there is no mandatory age limit and drivers of any age are invited to attend. Water pressure fell dramatically over Sunday night and early Monday morning as a result of a problem with the telemetry system that runs the city wells.
