Bruneau Dunes State Park has announced its schedule of events for the weekend of June 19-20. Friday and Saturday 6-8 p.m. -- Solar Viewing: Join park staff at the Observatory plaza for solar viewing, looking at the dunes through "Big Eyes" naval binoculars, and take a tour of the observatory. Due to possible rain, work on several of the houses chosen for the annual Paint the Town project was postponed until this coming weekend, while other houses were painted Saturday morning by squadrons from Mountain Home Air Force Base.
