WECRD's plan just won't fly
(Letter to the Editor ~ 03/11/09)
Dear editor: I would like to address a letter to the editor written by Teri Smith and a letter to the editor written by Marsha Sellers in the March 4, 2009, Mountain Home News. First, Ms. Smith. I have personally spent close to $700 on copy fees so that the "public" can be informed and educated. The current employee has stated that to get a good person to fill this position the county should pay them three or four times what she is receiving...

Police your dogs on their walks
(Letter to the Editor ~ 03/11/09)
Dear editor: The beautiful world God created is sick and it is full of greedy corrupt politicians. But, I am writing about a simpler matter. Our community, I believe, is a walking community.
