Authorities ask for help in case of 'serious road rage'

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office is investigating what it calls "a serious case of road rage" Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, and asking the public for help in solving the incident. Authorities believe the incident began around 1:09 a.m. near milepost 74 in Elmore County when two vehicles apparently were involved in what a witness described as a "cat and mouse game" while traveling Eastbound on 1-84...

Whooping Cough confirmed in Mountain Home

According to the Central District Health Department (CDHD), there has been multiple pertussis (whooping cough) cases in Mountain Home since mid-September. In total, there has been eight cases reported, six being teenagers and two being adults. When pertussis is suspected, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that physicians initiate antibiotic treatment immediately. ...
