Annual Garden Tour Saturday

"A Palette of Posies," the 12th annual Garden Tour, sponsored by the Mountain Home Arts Council and Beta Zeta Civic Club, will be held on Saturday, June 21. The tour is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will showcase several local gardens. Semi-truck accident on I-84

Emergency response crews are working the scene of an injury accident in the westbound lanes of I-84 near milepost 122, just east of Glenns Ferry. Westbound traffic has been slowed, and the right hand lane is closed until the wreckage can be cleared. Eastbound traffic has not been affected. Drivers of both vehicles have been taken by ground ambulance to Elmore Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown. No further details are available at this time.

Updated: Construction causes delays on Idaho Highway 67

Seal coating work is under way on Idaho 51 and Idaho 67 in Elmore County, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. An eight-mile segment of Idaho 51 along Beet Dump Road was already completed, and crews are working on the stretch of Idaho 67 from Mountain Home to the Air Force Base, and southwest down to Grandview, a total of about 24 additional miles.
