2008 Idaho Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony held (Local News ~ 05/16/08)
Officers representing law enforcement agencies from across Idaho gathered Friday morning May 16, at 10:00 am for the Idaho Peace Officers Memorial on the grounds of the Idaho State Police Headquarters (700 S. Stratford, Meridian). The annual event remembers those officers killed in the line of duty. Special recognition was given to Lee S. Newbill of the Moscow Police Department, killed May 19, 2007. He is the 64th officer whose name has been added to the memorial wall... -

The Mountain Home High School Lady Tigers beat Lakeland in the 8th inning with a 1-0 win. Their next game is Friday night against Kuna at 5pm. If they win this one, they will go to the Championship on Saturday.
