Council approves motocross racing at Optimist Park

Motocross racing and events are expected to resume at Optimist Park this year after the city council approved awarding a contract to operate the track to White Knuckle Racing at the regular council meeting Monday evening. Hospital to seek $23.5 million bond

The hospital board has decided to try again to get the public to approve a bond issue for a major expansion of Elmore Medical Center. The Hospital District Board of Trustees, at its March 7 meeting, approved a resolution that set a May 22, special election to seek voter approval of a bond to finance the hospital expansion plan. The $23.5 million general obligation bond will be used to build a new patient care facility at Elmore Medical Center...

The Mountain Home golf teams all had golf dates at Emmett last week. The Tiger boys varsity finished sixth, the JV boys were third, and the girls did not have a full team at the match.
