Nearly 200 members of the Class of 2006 at Mountain Home High School received their hard-earned diplomas Friday, during the annual commencement exercises at Tiger Field. This year's class already has received more than $200,000 in scholarships, Principal Barry Cahill announced, including $50,000 from local groups, organizations and businesses...

Lloyd Stover Lyda, 81, died May 24, 2006, at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., following an unsuccessful open heart surgery. He had been a resident of Mountain Home since 1994. A celebration of his life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, June 3, at 1 p.m...
