A 19-year-old Mountain Home man was killed in an unusual and tragic accident while riding a bull at the Caribou County Rodeo in the small southeastern Idaho community of Grace Saturday night, Aug. 6. Area law enforcement officers responded to two unrelated but nearly simultaneous bomb threats last Thursday. Both threats turned out to be false but one of the cases is still under investigation. A petition to recall Mountain Home Councilman Mark Russell failed to be turned in as the deadline to file the petition passed without notice.
