Authorities have few clues in an incident last week when an Elmore County deputy was shot at while investigating a crash on I-84. Deputy Sean Sterling was completing his investigation of a non-injury DUI rollover in the westbound lane near Exit 90 on I-84 on Tuesday night last week just after 2 a.m. when he heard a shot fired.
