Nita M. Baker, 93, died Nov. 17, 2003, with family by her side at the Elmore Long Term Care Unit. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery. Nita was born in Baker City, Ore., on Aug. 14, 1910, to Jake and Emelia Ebell Hucker. She graduated from Baker City High School in 1929 and Business College in 1930...

Dr. and Mrs. Jerril LeFevre of Mountain Home, and Robert St. Laurent, of Gainesville, Fla., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Catherine, to Cory Ivor Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Lewis of Kingston, Idaho.
