Real Deal Central American Adventure
The Real Deal Central American Adventure
Striking out on a trip through Mexico and into Central America takes courage and pioneer spirit, the kind of grit that claimed what we now call Idaho and the Oregon territory. Rudy Gingerich's trip into heart of Mexico then on to Central America is something that most of us only dream about except they did it!
Striking out on two wheels crossing America, traversing borders, different cultures and experiencing people with very different lives creates an adventure that will stay with those who take a journey like this for a lifetime.
Riding the roads less traveled created daily situations that challenged that pushed these travelers on, they learned overcome and complete this epic adventure. This is nothing short of amazing. Following is a press release about the event.

Rudy was born in 1952 in Twin Falls, Idaho and grew up south of Filer on a small 40acre farm till 1962 when his family moved to the Bruneau area to farm and ranch. Rudy was nine years old when he got his first motorcycle. Different countries, cultures, and languages have always fascinated him. Travel is another interest and when he was 15, Rudy went to Brazil with his parents for three months, and lived on the banks of the Amazon, where they helped build a school. In the mid 70's, his brother, Verlin and Rudy formed a farming partnership and have been farming in the same valley till the present time.
