Who is this Guy?
After two complete posts and if your foolish enough to read these, I feel obligated to bear a little of my soul and my background. I realize this opens me up to thousands of poison thought darts but it's been a good week, lets get on with this.
In short, I worked for the enemy of all newspaper journalists everywhere for over 30 years, as a television photojournalist. I started out with aspirations of writing for a newspaper then fell victim to the glamour of hanging out with cool people, not being one this was a pretty good bonus.
While we are at it I have been asked a million times why I took a job at Mountain Home Air Force Base, the simple answer is, "It's none of your business!" I will say that Opra had something to do with it.

I got to sit and visit with SSgt Purser, you will see in the last scenes of the video. He unknowingly convinced me to take the job at the Air Warfare Battlelab here at Mountain Home AFB. Some times fate has its way with you.
Three years later…
The Air Warfare Battlelab ended a 10-year run last week, probably longer than any one expected. The life expectancy of a military organization designed to shake things up within the research and acquisition community is not that long. All I can say is we tried, it might not seem like it, but I gave it all of my effort for three years and now its over.
Fate has shown me another opportunity that allows my wife and I to stay in Mountain Home.
From this point on I will resort to my normal antics, finding adventure anywhere I can in this great state and even other places, when time and money allow. Stay tuned!
