Give Thanks
There are so many things I'm thankful for. I went thru some of my photos, and grabbed a few that caught my eyes, as a favorite. I take so many photos during our days, but there are some that when I see them, I know "This is a favorite" As always the Grandchildren hold a top stop in my heart, and in my husband's heart also. Then comes our daily lives with horses, cattle, and outdoors.
The first picture is of Bryce and Jilly, my oldest son's children. We are fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with them, and so, we have a great deal of influence in their lives. I'm especially happy that they are able to experience many of the things that we ourselves experienced as kids. So many don't know these things exist, let alone be a part of them. * This was from a spring branding and near the end of the day ..... but they've had a great day, and the smiles prove it
This is at the same branding. I'm grateful for friends who've been around forever, and still come to help when you need them. I'm grateful for this man who is my husband, and the ability he has to make me think everything will be ok. I'm grateful for horses like the one he's riding, that are so amazing at their willingness to work for us.
I'm so very thankful to have a husband/man who loves children and is more than willing to take the time to show them things and help them feel secure. How many children at the age of 8, do you know that can give vaccinations confidently? I don't know many, but I do know this one. I'm thankful to have horses that I am ok putting little tiny children on, and have a feeling of trust. And I'm so thankful, that this little boy will only get more and more confident with his riding abilities.
I'm Thankful that I live in communities that hold traditions near and dear to the heart. This man has been attending The Bruneau Round up for an unknown amount of years, and at 70something years old, still participates. I'm truly thankful to have caught this moment in time, and that his daughter has thanked me also for catching it.
These kids, along with me, are thankful to the Ace Black ranches, for starting a new tradition of kids roping a horse to take home as a prize.
I'm thankful that I get to go to so many places that are all about HORSE. And this year, I"m grateful that my Grandsons came from North Dakota to meet me in Wyoming for a little while, with their Mom, who took the opportunity to have some 'horse time' herself.
I'm thankful my daughter let me bring a grandson home to play with his cousins for the summer
I'm thankful for Buck Brannaman who dedicates his life to helping make the horse's life better.
Of course I'm thankful for being able to go and see amazing races in Boise, less than an hour away! Not to mention, meeting great friends there. I'm thankful to Carolyn Hunt, who is now dedicating her life to keeping the Legacy alive, and continuing to help make the horses' lives better.
I'm grateful that I have a friend who travels all the way from Georgia to come and visit and ride with us.
I'm grateful for this friend who has stood by me thru whatever has come my way. For so many years
I'm thankful that this young girl asked me to come and watch her at her Fair, and thankful I was able to make it there to see her succeed!
Thankful that my own husband has also dedicated his life to helping the horse's have a better life.
I'm soo very thankful that my children love one another
I'm so very thankful to have my Mom and Dad
Grateful for new lives that come into our life
I'm so thankful that we were able to help Jilly have a great first Fair, and also thankful for the people that make it possible
I can not say how thankful I am that my husband is willing to do what it takes to save the lives of "mere" animals, and is successful .... and comes home to me every night inspite of the dangers.
So thankful that we are able to find great horses that are kid friendly
So thankful to have found a loving home for my horse to go to
Grateful for kids that love to play Cowboy and Indians!
Grateful that sometimes our garden produces pumpkins for Halloween
So grateful that my granddaughter has this type of opportunity, and that I recognize the beauty in the photo
Happy and Grateful for good working cow dogs that are great with children
So happy that people find deep and abiding love
I'm so thankful my youngest son has found the Love of his life, and that they look forward to Happiness ...and creating their own memories and a life of love with their children.
Simple pleasures like making ice-cream while playing on a hot summer day
Grateful that young girls come to ride with us, and learn to love the experience that a horse can give them....and also learn to share that love with younger siblings
Grateful that I have the opportunity to witness loving families welcome God into their Lives, and that I recognize it when I have the chance to see it.
I am thankful that I love these simple things, like a country field, and beautiful Sunflowers
I'm thankful for the first snowflakes of the season
I'm so very thankful that sudden accidents turn out with no one getting hurt
We are thankful that we got to ride over the Continental Divide this year. It was an extraordinary experience, with beautiful sights all along the way
I'm thankful that on weekends, I get to go see these sights. Though Anderson is still so low, this is gorgeous country
I haven't got a photo here of everything I am Grateful for.....but many of them. * I'm so thankful that my family is all Healthy and that we all love one another. Yes, there are disagreements from time to time, but there is NEVER a time that we consider walking away. Hateful words are never spoken.
When you sit down to the Thanksgiving table this year, look around the table and truly SEE the loved ones beside and across from you. Remember the ones that have passed and include them in your thoughts,
Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and mostly, remember to be thankful EVERYDAY
