Fair Preps
After getting home from my travels, I have to immediately do some 'meetings' and prepare for the Fair which was the middle of July. Time was flying by!
In order to be in the "Jumping" Classes at the Fair, the kids have to pass an Evaluation. It's for their own safety. Just by the nature of it, Horseback riding is dangerous, so we do all we can do help kids live up to their potential, SAFELY
We are lucky enough to have some volunteers who are willing to share their time and knowledge.
I've said it before, and I'll say it many many more times. Mountain Home has some great up and coming horse people. I can't wait to see where they go with their abilities. KTLM, this is Arisha, believe it or not!
And KTLM, this is Kade, practicing for Working Ranch Horse
Working Ranch Horse is another one of the "added" events, that a Child must qualify for. Again, it's for their own safety. The photo below is of a young man, who's been riding his whole life, and it shows. But as you can see, sometimes, there is a lot of speed and then adding a cow makes it necessary to make sure that they are safe.
