The Devastation of it All
Just stopping in for a minute to ask for continued prayers, and let those that need them, know that we are still praying.
So much work done ...and yet no end in sight..... for so long
Our own cattle are out there, along with others that we care for. And those of our close friends. Not to mention homes, of very close families. It seems kind of unreal, as I have watched and done my share. Every time I get an update from Wayne, I just feel more and more defeated. How do you fight something that seems so unfair, and unfeeling? It is unfair and unfeeling. So many structure have been lost and lives forever changed. My heart and thoughts are a jumble of emotions. It's Saturday evening, and today, My husband and son went to move cattle. They were literally IN the FIRE. Not easy to do, when everything in an animal's instinct fights it. * But they got the job done. * And came back exhausted...and will be going out again tomorrow. * I actually choke a bit typing that. * My men in harm's way, is not my favorite thing. But I"m so proud of them for what they accomplished today in spite of everything against it.
Thanks also to the firefighters out there who are doing everything that they can.
Glod Bless You All
