I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

Jilly turns 9

Gosh, where did the time go? This little girl has been in my life for years. I watched her grow from a crawler, to a walker. A walker to a runner. A runner to a horse back riding horse loving girl. I think you can tell from looking at her eyes, that she has a heart of Gold. And a smile to match. She's smart, and can match you wit for wit. She can take a serious teasing, and she can take a fall off a horse, which sadly, she has now lived thru. This Grandma's heart sank at the site, but Jilly got back up and bore the ouches, and got back on that horse. Cuz I'd told her that whenever she did fall, she'd have to do it. And she made it better than it had been. Ended with a smile. She learned from that adventure, as she learns from everything. She wants to please so badly you can see it in her trembling lips as she tries to smile through her worries.

And she continues to amaze and enchant me, while she grows before my very eyes. She's my Granddaughter, but the ties that bind couldn't be any stronger if she were my daughter.

Co-incidentally, I watched a video today, that really makes you think, it did me anyway. Those of us with children, have had that thought from time to time "Where DOES the time go?"

Jilly turned 8 this weekend, and I'll share a few photos of her Birthday Party that we celebrated with her. I think you can see her Joy and the feeling of love she has.

So, obviously this horse she's pointing at is another horse she has at home. Beamer, now I guess I need to get him some glasses, which he'll happily wear, I'm sure.

It does go by fast...too fast. You want to just grab the reins, pull back and slow it all down. But, you're right, Jessie, in the blink of an eye she'll be heading to high school, liking boys (yikes!) and realizing all the things she's ever dreamed of doing actually happening. So lucky for you that you get to stand with her parents and watch it all happen. She is such a loved little girl!

Thanks CC, I have loved every minute of it. We've had her overnight several nights in the last few weeks, and get to again the next few weeks. Makes me feel like a full time Mom! But makes me realize why we have children when we are younger!

Were did my comment go????? Anyway, like I just typed a second ago.... Some people might think you are partial and just saying nice things about her because she is your grand daughter. I've only known her and the rest of the clan for about a year now and I can say, she is EXACTLY the way you described. She's an awesome kid and I love her bunches! As a matter of fact, both of those kids are pretty alright in my book :)

Glad to be blogging again. Got my Mac working like I want. It only takes a minute when the program works.

The other program .... I'd blog , hit publish and it would be gone ....never to be seen again. Though a couple of them showed up literally weeks later. Kind of funny but not!
