One word blog with so much meaning.

I didn't know what it meant so, I looked it up. I don't know if this is what you were intending with this blog but, what I found blew me away.

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

Was this Obama's intended goal? It's a shame when you HAVE to question a Presidents motives at every turn but, he's the one who has made it like this.

I don't personally know any muslims period. I tend to stay away from people who are taught to hate me.

From what I'm gathering from your links, it's basically saying that muslims can be exempt if they so choose. Just because it doesn't name them specifically doesn't mean they can't apply for the exemption and get it. Now, let a Catholic try that and see how quickly they will be turned down. And I'm sure the ACLU or the Council on American-Islamic Relations will not be there to back them up like they would the Muslims.

The only true statement Obama made when he was running for election was that he would "fundamentally transform America". I don't think people understood what he really meant when he said that. I hope its becoming clearer to people now. He and his regime hates America and everything it stands for. This Obamacare bill isn't just a healthcare bill. More and more stuff like this Dhimmitude is being unearthed from this massive piece of legislation that most of the politicians that passed the bill didn't even bother reading. The Supreme Court can't even read or understand it either. But our man Obama threatens them that they'd better okay the constituionality of the bill anyway. It's just mind-boggling what this regime is getting away with. We need to take this country back before it's too late.

This reminds me of another little gem that was unearthed from Obamacare: the fact that Americans who make over $200,000 a year and sell their home will have to pay a real estate tax of 3.8% to the government. Can anyone tell me what a real estate tax has to do with healthcare? The bloggers who support Obama on this newsite never responded to that question. In fact, I gathered that this extra real estate tax levied on upper income people didn't bother them at all because the evil, nasty, rich people have to pay it and not them. So it's all good! But, once this tax becomes effective in 2013, it can easily be amended to apply to lower income earners. The current policy with respect to dhimmitude can easily be amended, too.

Good lord! It also exempts the Amish, Mennonites and other religions.

You know, in case some of you folks didn't bother to read my comment on Mike's paranoia blog, everybody was just fine with American's rights being violated or taken away because they are Muslim. Now those powers that allowed that could be aimed at YOU! You didn't squawk then, but you sure are now!

After looking at the comments here, I am pretty sad. The word "You" has been used with abandon. Our views personal have become personal instead of being objective.

As long as we rise up against each other instead of finding a common ground, this country will suffer.

All week long, I have been trying to think of a blog that commemerates the Ressurection to bring honor to the very Being that gave us all life. So I am still thinking about the right words to say.

It applies to me and my responses as well as anyone elses.

Some of the comments being thrown back and forth are starting to resemble a Lucy Show when Lucy and Ethel go shopping a store that is having a January White Sale.

We all want the best that money can buy, but first you have to make it to the sales counter intact with your merchandise and then there is a struggle to get out the door.

And then there is that hefty well-built woman who is determined to get the girdle that is two sizes too small. Lucy and Ethel can't catch a break some days and neither can we.

In the end, we all have to decide what is really important. Do we grab everything that we can get our hands on just because it is on sale? or do we choose the best fit and sprint toward the check-out counter.

Does our strategy involve aggressive maneuvers to get past the plus-size lady who is standing her ground or face to face combat?

Lucy and Ethel would change their strategies according to the shift in the situation. That is all that I am suggesting.

Sorry, KH gal, but I agree with Buckshot. Anyone who comments on these blogs, especially about political issues, knows they are going to get an earload tossed right back at them, especially when they make dishonest comments that can be fact checked. I don't know what prompted your lecture about treating other people "the right way" or changing tactics when blogging. The last posts before your admonition to the bloggers was Pratt's assertion that the left-wingers didn't support the Patriot Act, but the conservatives did, and that's why we're in the mess we're in. After that ridiculous statement, other bloggers got on to fact-check him with a dose of reality. As others say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Now that the Tea Party has taken over the Republican Party, more and more moderate conservatives are likely turning to the Independent Party like I have. As Second Wind said, "the Republican Party doesn't want or need [people like] me". And I certainly don't need nor want the extremism of the new Republican Party. Anyone notice that during WW2 if you said you hated the Germans or the Japanese, that no one would give you a problem about it? Same thing when we were fighting the NVA. Even during the Cold War no one would bat an eye if you said you hated the Russians. Now that we are fighting the Muslims, you aren't aloud to say that you hate them. Why is that? It wasn't the Jews that flew those planes and started this war, I don't think it was even the Irish.
