  • This is an absolutely beautiful photo. You have such a great eye for angles and elevation. The Bruneau Canyon is one of the most scenic places on earth.

  • Great photo. Perhaps the WECRD should shop around for the "best" deal and hire you. Great photo (loved the one of your horse as well).

Those were all great comments, and I guess I have to admit that it may be called by several names. But those are not the names that I know of. And to clear, it's the "valley" part of the picture that is what I"m playing with....not the rock....so...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... on second thought someone could be right! So congrats...

The valley/hole/hold part of this has not been 'used' for what it was used for in many years. (That I know of)

Those of you into Idaho/Horse type history may guess this easier.

Tracy, yeah, I'd have taken a picture and it would have been good....I have photo shop, could have blasted it like it was done I suppose... heeeheee

Thanks for comments and for playing.

And JTrotter, I agree about Bruneau canyon and other places that some think is just "flat barren desert" land. The things I"ve seen out there take my breath away. I've been lucky enough to see some incredible sites, Indian Writings... Notes written on large rocks by what I assume were pioneers hundreds of years ago....

colorful snakes and spiders... horny toads ...etc...

Yep, I carry a camera for those things.

Can you believe this year I had a goal of seeing a wolf.... And then I did see one ... close enough to see his eyes... He was GORGEOUS.... (2 actually)My heart was pounding I was so excited. Of all days to forget my camera.

    Sob

  • sallylittle. Really? Have you no shame? Give it a rest already. Your posts make you out to be nuts. This is not the correct forum for these interactions and they are offensive. If your friend's husband left her for another woman...she is probably better off without him. Now please, give it a rest. Send an email. None of us want to read this crap. You should be ashamed of yourself sallylittle. Enough already.

This is called "Devil's Corral" Where old times used to corral wild horses. Can't you just picture it?

  • Hmmmm. Pretty cool. Great picture. I can just see the wild horses now!

Jessie, different topic (sorry). Did you hear about the horses in Oregon? The Humane Society went to a "training" facility and found 116 horses in some of the worst condition the officers had ever seen. 31 were taken because that was all the space they had at the time. If you google horses seized in Oregon (around mid-January) it will bring it up. Not pretty. They are looking for foster homes if they can get them healthy:) A project for Wayne!
