I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

Preifert Horses

These are called the "Preifert Horses" and this picture does NOT do them justice. There were 8 of these I believe. On Saturday, the man who brought these horses had the 8 harnessed for driving, and he STOOD on the last 2 while they RACED around the arena. Sunday, he raised them around with a cart. It breaks my heart I was unable to get pictures, as I was in a show class myself at the time. I heard the roars of the crowd both days, so I KNOW it was impressive. They must stand close to 20 hands tall. MY horse is tall at about 17 hands, and he's a shrimp next to these guys.

I wish you could have seen them!
