The idea behind Robert's Random is for me to write about whatever I'm thinking about whenever I'm thinking it. I try to write 3-5 times a week, but sometimes real work gets in the way of that. Sometimes I'll share whatever random thought I might have that day but most of the time, I like to write about things going on in the news. I'm a total news junkie, I spend a lot of time online at various news sites. If I find a story where someone does something totally stupid or I wonder "what were they thinking?" I don't mind pointing it out incase others missed it or taking my best guess at what they were thinking. I like to laugh, I like to make others laugh. There's so much serious and wrong stuff going on in the news that when I find an unusual or light story, I like to use it. And while real life news events might be the focus of many of my blogs, I'm just trying to entertain you, make you laugh and maybe even think about something you didn't know before reading. I'm not trying to break any serious news or deliver any hard-hitting coverage. You'll have to read a paper or watch one of the network shows for that.
I'd rather be Tony Stark than Iron Man
I saw the trailer for Iron Man 3 this weekend and I'm super excited to see the movie next month. I probably go to about three or four movies a year in the theaters and catch one film during opening weekend every other year and Iron Man 3 will be both of those.
If I lived in Japan, I could see the movie in 4DX.
But I gotta be honest, as cool as it would be to be able to fly around in the Iron Man suit, I'd much rather be Tony Stark.
He's a brilliant engineer. He not only invented the suit, but a way to get in and out of the suit without touching anything.
He's rich.
He's friends with Thorn. And Captain America.
He lives in the ultimate bachelor pad. And it's for sale. Just kidding.
Tony Stalk's self made. If you don't count the money his dad left him when he inherited the family business.
He can fly. Where would you go if you could fly around down town? (OK, so Tony Stark can't fly, but having access to a flying suit on demand would be pretty cool.)
He has really cool cars.
He's faulted. He's not perfect, which makes him like everyone else. He hides from his fame at times, takes time off from trying to save the world and deals with a drinking habit while battling depression at times.
He dates girls that look like this.
He has an awesome computer. If I had a computer like his, I'd totally use it to take Facebook stalking to a new level.
People follow him on Twitter.
