WECRD releases breakdown of construction costs

The Western Elmore County Recreation District recently released a breakdown of construction costs related to the indoor pool facility on its Facebook page. Currently the district has a balance of $4.1 million from property taxes to go towards the build. The total project is estimated to come in at $8.2 million an option to phase the construction of the facility would have the leisure pool side being built first would cost $5.7 million...

59th Annual Basque Picnic this weekend (Local News ~ 08/02/19)
The 59th Basque Festival will take place this Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Basque Park in Mountain Home. The yearly event will open its gates to the public at 2 p.m. Traditional Basque food will be served all day including chorizos, lamb and beans.
