Churches seek to bring joy to children living overseas

Local area churches joined forces last month as part of a nationwide effort that seeks to bring the gift of hope and joy to others overseas in time for the holidays. Hundreds of children will benefit from the generosity of local residents, who provided small toys, school supplies and hygiene items as part of Operation Christmas Child, which will send these gifts to children living in difficult situations around the world...
