The Mountain Home Historical Society will host its annual Victorian Christmas Tea at the museum on Thursday, Dec. 5, and again on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tea times for each date are 1 and 3 p.m. The event allows an opportunity to "dress up for tea" and many participants wear hats and gloves to the event. The menu, primarily light finger food prepared by museum volunteers, is designed with an English flair. The entertainment has yet to be announced...

Josephine Rankin, 86, of Mountain Home, passed peacefully into God's arms on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at St. Luke's Elmore, with her daughter by her side.
