Veteran's Day event scheduled for Thursday (Local News ~ 11/10/10)

High school students to help local senior citizens

Student volunteers from Mountain Home High School will spend Saturday raking leaves at the homes of area senior citizens, part of an annual community service project by the students. Each year, approximately 40 yards, determined by sign-up sheets at the Mountain Home Senior Center, get the clean-up efforts, although MHHS Principal Jeff Johnson noted, "there's always a need for more than we can do."...
