Dear editor: What the residents of Elmore County need to be made aware of is that this situation affects them, whether or not they are patients at Trinity Mountain, use the local hospital, or seek all their medical care in Boise. If you are a taxpayer, your taxes were used to recruit these two doctors in 2007 (approximately $80,000+ was the recruitment budget -- $40,000 per physician) and additional taxpayer money will be used to recruit their replacements in the hospital-owned Trinity Mountain Clinic.. ...
