A handful of Mountain Home residents expressed their concerns regarding proposed changes to the city's animal control ordinance and increases to licensing fees at a city council meeting Monday. Adeline Wheeler, 85, of Meridian, formerly of Mountain Home, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Aug. 20, 2009. She was born June 18, 1924, in Dietrich, Idaho, to Adrian and Celestina Berriochoa. As a freshman she moved to Mullan, Idaho, and met the ³one and only² love of her life, Tom. They married Feb. 13, 1943, and had 43 years of marriage before Tom passed away in 1986.
