John I. Mikach, 77, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at his residence. Per his request no services will be held. Mountain Home City Council is considering an ordinance to implement curbside recycling within city limits. Currently the city offers a voluntary recycling service at the Parks, Recreation and Environmental Department. Although the program has proven successful, it has been costly to operate.
