Too bad. I happened across this site only yesterday. I thought it was great and bazookaman hits the nail on the head.

It is funny and sad that this is the only blog I have ever signed up to and it is going to be gone before I get started.

I have drawn many of the same conclusions presented by bazookaman here by simply opening my eyes and doing a little independent research. It is quite easy to do, actually.

What amazes me the most is how often I see here and on other blog sites I have read, the numbers of people that are willing to take the stance "dont's confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up".

I am sorry to see you go but I do know what you mean. Being the "informer" is a thankless job in most cases and normally makes you ("collective") the town nut. The post from the guy in Texas really nailed it. Good luck to you but I am sure if Donna is anything like my husband with all of this...she is probably happy you are "done." See you around Mike and take care. I still want to hear you play and see some of those cars!

Mike, I am saddened by your news. I never believed they would run you off. I appreciate that you always spoke the truth. (Yes, THE TRUTH people) MANY folks agreed with you and appreciated that you were never afraid to speak what's on your mind. I know you are a good person just wanting the best for this country that you love so dearly. You're absolutely right about Obama. He's already making bad decisions and he's not even in there yet. Scary times ahead. It's gonna be a bumpy ride. Heaven help us all. Sure wish you were gonna be around to talk about it! I'm begging you......please reconsider???

Mike, ive been reading your blog since youve started and have never commented, but i figure now is as good of a time as any....your blog will be missed, im an Active Duty Soldier with 11 yrs under my belt...the majority of which have been in combat...your views are brought about by your life experiences and some of us young pups out their have alot to learn from old dogs like yourself..please reconsider your leaving....but either way...Thank you for your views, some of us are big fans !! Roger..Out...

Bazooka,

I read your blogs. I was intrigued by most of them enough to open my eyes and research more on my own. You've helped me to educate myself about what is outside of my little bubble.
