Let It Snow
Well, just when you thought it was safe to walk around on dry pavement again, we have another snow blanket this morning, and more on the way.............if you trust the weatherman.
I've always envisioned the scene of a newsroom, where the weatherman's desk was over next to a window, and above that window would be a sign that read: "Today's Forecast......look out this window!"
Throws a little wrench into today's agenda. I WAS going to drive down to Glenns Ferry today to have coffee with my friend Ayrewolf, but I'll probably have to pin that back a couple of days, depending on the weather......oh, I drive in bad weather if I HAVE to...ie: to Boise for a doctor's appointment or something.....but when I have a choice, I'd just as soon drive on good roads. (Ayrewolf has a towing business, but I'd just as soon NOT be a customer!)
I enjoy a break out of here now and then, though. Ayrewolf and I are two different people but we share the common bond, that NEITHER of us are sucked in by the media. We both see a lot of things that are coming, but because each of us actually want to DO something about it, we're called "radicals", "nuts", "troublemskers", etc.
That's ok. So were a lot of our "radical" founders. If Ben Franklin were alive today, he'd probably be arrested for flying a kite without FAA approval. Paul Revere would be jailed for creating a public disturbance in the middle of the night, and George Washington would be cited for crossing a public river in an unregistered boat.
So.........I think I'll just stay close to home, and continue putting a special blog together, which I might even dedicate to my liberal counterpart, "Ex-InternMike" back in Pennsylvania..............and Ayrewolf, we'll get together soon.
