    Scary, but so very true.............

  • The Mountain Home News gives both of you platforms to spread your craziness, but I don't know why I'd expect to see gratitude. Since they probably don't parrot your childish conspiracy theories - Obama's a foreigner! Ignore the birth certificate and announcements of his birth in two American newspapers! - on their front page they must be part of the "liberal, deck-stacking agenda."

  • You complain a lot about the Statesman - have you read the Press-Tribune? I seem to vaguely recall they had the more conservative reputation. Probably not near rightward enough to satisfy you, but still, if I remember right, more conservative than the Statesman.

  • And I would still bet the Mountain Home News does a better job covering Mountain Home, particularly municipal services, than any other newspaper or TV or radio station.

  • Yes, it should, are you in the habit of second-guessing this week's birth announcements in the Mountain Home News? What did Hawaii's voting patterns matter when Obama was born and the birth announcement submitted to the local papers?

  • He's already released a copy of his birth certificate verified by independent groups, two newspapers in 1961 carried his birth announcement - and even if you distrust those two newspapers what precisely was their motive at the time for planting an infant's name in their birth announcements? - and, I don't believe I've mentioned this before - the director of the Hawaii health department says his records on file are in order - I don't know who appointed her but the governor of Hawaii is a Republican and friend of Palin's.

Why SHOULD he have to go any further? At what point should Obama get to draw the line and tell people grasping at ridiculous straws to grow up and accept that more Americans preferred Obama, who the evidence indicates WAS born in Hawaii, to lead the country than McCain? I haven't even seen evidence yet he has Kenyan medical records, just allegations they've been sealed Obama won't open them.
