  • Mike, it's not now, nor was it ever, a "Leave it to Beaver" world. It's what any of us would like to be, that's all -- but not reality.

I don't think the future will be easy, but millions and millions of people want to try a different approach, one that doesn't favor the wealthy over regular people.

One thing that will help the future is folks working together. The voters have spoken. That's what you and McCain and the veterans we'll remember on the 11th have worked, suffered, and even died for.

By the way, I came to terms with people who were pacifists (some religions, etc.) while my husband and sons put their lives on the line so they could remain pacifists. They, and you and McCain, protected the country for all Americans, no matter what the religion or political party.

There are always concerns about new things. It's natural. But we can't NOT go forward and walk and work together.

  • I agree with you Mike. While the left wants us to all get along now that they are in command, their idea of geting along is doing everything their way. I for one am not pleased the left will control all things coming out of Washington, but my greatest concern is the Supreme Court. Im sure that we will face ideas from the left that lead to them wanting to ammend the Constitution. Hope they fail.

By the way I watched Andy last night as most of the things on the tube disgusts me.

  • Now I'm clinging even TIGHTER to my guns and religion!! I can't rally behind someone I don't even trust and I'm certainly not about to apologize for it. This man is going to have to prove himself and I don't see that happening.
