  • Have you considered the fact that your vote will be a "wasted" vote. It is pretty obvious that there will be two candidates that we all need to decide on. I think to vote for someone that is obviously "not in the running" is very unpatriotic. It is as bad as not voting at all.

  • OMG! That has got to be the stupidest statement I've heard all week ynia. When you vote you are saying who you agree with. NOT who is electable. Its tools like you that hold Collectivism > Freedom!

Here is a great link that explains the difference.

  • Paul gets my Vote.

The most wasted vote I ever cast was for George Bush.

When I voted for him, I voted for illegal immigration, police state, huge deficits, and bigger federal government.

This I did so as to choose the "lesser of two evils".

I threw my vote away on Mexico when I voted for Mr. Bush, so I figure why not take a gamble on the maverick Ron Paul, can't get much worse and if it does, lets force them to bring it to a head and see if they are as willing to die for one world government as patriots are willing to die for the USA.

  • It looks like about 1/5 of the votes cast were wasted on Ron Paul. He doesn't stand a chance, but it's your vote to do with what you please.

I like your idea about everyone voting their conscience, but until everyone is going to do it, I feel that it is a waste for some to do it. That is how the worst candidates sometimes win. You take votes away from the second best to vote for the best and end up with the worst. Just my opinion.

He will ELIMINATE the IRS as well as the Death Tax???? He will or he would like to? Candidates are always talking about what they are going to do, but it rarely comes to fruition.

You talk about he media telling you who to vote for, but you seem to be doing that very thing. You have a blog promoted by a news paper and you are telling people who to vote for.

We live in a world today that Washington did not. Threats can come from anywhere and very quickly. To ignore threats in other parts of the world simply because they haven't attacked us doesn't seem like a good policy to me. 911 taught me that you have to be vigilant. That means a lot of things to a lot of people, but to me it means that we can't turn our backs and leave tyrants unchecked.

  • You feel it's unpatriotic to vote for some one who isn't even running? What if you don't agree with the two choices you do have? Should you just stay home and not vote? I think Bazooka is right we as American's need to stop voting with our parties and start voting for what is best for us. We need to stop living in fear and start taking our lives into our hands, the Government has the power they do because the majority gave up.

We really need to stop letting the media control our choices in life. I'm sure some of you believe that the media doesn't control much but sit down and seriously give it some thought. Don't you think if the media was a fair venue this country wouldn't have been pigeon hold to only 3 candidates? When it comes to something as important as a Presidental election it shouldn't be about who can AFFORD to place ads on the local networks, and the media should remain unbiased and just report. The media should be providing all of the information to US and we should be able to make informed decisions based on what is provided, instead we get partial info at best and only in the direction that Media and Government see fit so the end result is exactly as they want it to be.

We need realize that we, as adults, have the ability to think for ourselves, we know right from wrong, and given the right circumstances we can even raise our children with out the help of our NOSEY Government.

Why don't we start taking US back, stop letting the Government dupe us into believing that they know what is best for us, stop allowing the Government run our lives.

It may be that some of you are thinking I'm paranoid, I've read the same comment to Bazooka so I consider myself in good company!!!!
