  • Mike,

Thank you for speaking the truth. I have been in Iraq (US Navy officer JGJ) and got a medical discharged last year due to asthma problems (which I acquired during service). Even though it is not recommended for us to speak politics, specially in front of enlisted personnel, you would be surprised to see how many of us Naval Officers/enlisted and Marines understand Liberty and what our Constitution is (a written document drafted by our founding fathers to restrict the unbalanced gain of power by the government over We The People). The troops overall are demoralized because one way or the other they are becoming more politically educated and can see the corruption in Washington, this is why most of us support Dr. Paul.

This war needs to end NOW, it is unconstitutional and flat out illegal, where We are fighting for the tyrant against the Iraq people, their freedom and sovereignty. We are not fighting terrorists but regular citizens who have been traumatized by this invasion and are only defending their home from the evil Empirical American Machine.

I did not sign for this, but to defend our beloved Constitution. I believe we are experiencing the first stage of the Second American Revolution, this first stage being (awakening). Believe me, we will not earn our country back by civil disobedience only, we will earn our Liberty and Freedom with blood and bullets, the only way it's always been earned.

With these thoughts I Thank you again for your honesty and the educational work you are doing,

    USN Carlo Ciarelli LJG
