Helping others in the community

Following last week’s blood drive, the Red Cross scheduled a similar drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at Pioneer Federal Credit Union on West 3rd South Street in Mountain Home with the Bible Baptist Church hosting another from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 13 at the church, located at 1555 American Legion Blvd.

People from the Mountain Home community gathered at the church to do their part to help others by donating pints of blood.
