Congressman’s reps visit Mountain Home

Cuts to federal programs and increases to out-of-pocket expenses affecting older residents highlighted a list of concerns people in the Mountain Home area addressed to representatives from Congressman Mike Simpson’s district offices during their visit here July 17.

Linda Culver, regional director with the Congressman’s office in Twin Falls, and Sydney O’Connor, a field representative and caseworker from Boise, held meetings at city hall and the Mountain Home Senior Center to speak with people on what they felt lawmakers on Capitol Hill need to address.
