Netia June Manning, a beloved resident of Mountain Home, ID, passed away peacefully in Boise, ID on July 7, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born in Indianapolis in 1943 to Raymon and Vernetia Royer, who instilled in her a deep sense of community and a love for life.

Netia pursued her education at Franklin College, focusing on early education, where she not only honed her professional skills but also met Francis Groggett, and together they raised three children: Deborah, Scott, and Todd. Their journey led them to Vermont, where they took on ownership of the Victorian Inn in Wallingford. Netia thrived in her role as hostess, forming connections with guests and fostering a warm atmosphere.

After her time at the inn, Netia transitioned to the banking industry, where she applied her skills and commitment to service. Beyond her professional endeavors, Netia was a vibrant presence in her community. She sang joyfully in the church choir, embraced the camaraderie of the Red Hat Ladies and held the esteemed position of Royal Matron of Amaranth, a testament to her leadership and dedication.

Netia also found love and companionship through her involvement with Amaranth, where she met her future husband, Bob Manning. They married in October 2005 and shared a passion for traveling with the Shriner's Tin Lizzies. Eventually, they embraced a nomadic lifestyle, residing full-time in their RV, exploring and experiencing the beauty of the country together.

Netia's zest for life extended to her hobbies and personal pursuits. She had an impeccable sense of style, always dressed elegantly and with flair. Her talents in crocheting and quilting were admired by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of beautifully crafted afghans and quilts that will be cherished.

Netia June Manning will be remembered fondly for her warmth, generosity, and hospitality. She leaves behind a legacy of love and community spirit that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Netia is survived by her beloved family: her husband Bob Manning; children Debbie, Scott(Christy) and Todd(Fanny), Step-children Jackie and Eric; grandchildren Tyler, Alyta, Nathan, Morgan, Jacob, and Alyssa. Great-grandchildren Aria, Jason, Alfonse, and Agustus, extended family, and countless friends whose lives she enriched with her presence. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymon and Vernetia Royer, brother Norman and granddaughter Katherine. Netia's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness.
