Gov. Little

AARP Idaho is inviting Idahoans to join Governor Brad Little for a statewide telephone town meeting on May 29 from noon to 1pm (MTN). The conversation with Governor Little and AARP Idaho state director Lupe Wissel will focus on the recent legislative session and other topics important to Idahoans and their families.

“As Idaho’s 65+ population continues to increase, legislative issues continue to impact older Idahoans in a profound way and this most recent legislative session was no different,” said AARP Idaho state director Lupe Wissel. “This call will be a great opportunity to speak directly with Governor Little about property taxes, health care access, housing, transportation and other important issues affecting Idahoans."

This is an interactive forum and participants are encouraged to call and speak directly with Governor Little. Questions may also be submitted ahead of time via email at aarpid@aarp.org.

The conversation begins at noon MTN, Wednesday, May 29. Participants can join by dialing toll-free 866-767-0637 or by listening to the live stream on the AARP Idaho Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AARPIdaho.

Giving Idahoans a voice on the issues that matter most is a priority and AARP Idaho regularly makes these types of conversations available. With a membership of 187,000 Idahoans, AARP is the largest organization in the state and regularly hosts thousands of participants during statewide telephone town hall forums.
