Dolores Olivas
Dolores Olivas, age 51 of Mountain Home, passed away in Ely Nevada on January 17, 2023. Dolores, the 3rd youngest of 16, born to Hector and Ada Martinez on December 2, 1971, in Mountain Home. At the age of 16, she moved to California and met the love of her life Raymond Olivas. On November 22, 1989, they got married and together they were blessed with 5 children and 16 grandchildren.
The happy couple moved to Mountain Home in 2017. Dolores was 2nd generation of the family business. Just like her parents, Dolores made an enormous impact in the community. She treated anyone and everyone that came into La Tienda De Ama Y Apa like family. She made everyone feel like they were home. Dolores was loved beyond measure and her family thought the absolute world of her. Dolores was the most selfless, caring, tough, loving, sweetest “old lady” we have all known and loved. Dolores was the light that brightened up every room she walked into. She was the mother figure that everyone looked up to and needed without knowing. She built more than a legacy; she built a special bond with each person that crossed her path. Her biggest goal was to make the world a little better. To put more love into this world than hate and that’s exactly what she did. Each person she met, she loved with all her heart. She was truly a blessing sent from above.
Dolores is survived by her husband Raymond Olivas, 3 sons, 2 daughters, and 16 grandchildren along with numerous other family members.
Dolores is preceded in death by both parents Hector and Ada Martinez, 8 siblings, and 2 children. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home.
