County Commissioners
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Crystal Rodgers. Commissioners Al Hofer and Bud Corbus were also present as well as County Clerk Shelly Essl and Attorney Shondi Lott. The meeting opened with an Executive session. The next agenda item was the ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) and access to Rattlesnake Hill, with a letter outlining the easement for the tower. In previous meetings Sheriff Hollinshead stated that this is an important piece because of the limitations of the county assigned radios in an emergency. Attorney Lott stated that the easement signed was a partial easement in 1958, Elmore County has an easement only and doesn’t own the property, the state does. The decision will be tabled until all parties can meet and work out the details.
