Charles Edward Titus
On December 27, 2021, Charles Edward Titus, 86, of Glenns Ferry, took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the VFW Hall in Glenns Ferry.
The sun rose and the world welcomed Ed on March 29, 1936, that day the world became a brighter place. Ed was born to Charles Edward Titus Sr. and Vera Sarah Kermode of Rulo, Nebraska. The family later moved to Iowa then to Missouri. They moved to Hammett, in 1973 and then into Glenns Ferry. Ed lived a full and warm life, filled with family. He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother Walt Titus (Marilyn), his sisters Edith Uhlman (Donald), Lorraine Moore (Thomas). His son, Charles Edwin Titus, (Denise), his grandsons, Thomas Fain, Trevor and Scott Titus.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 67 years, Claudette Colleen Titus, his brothers Rick Titus (Carleen), John Titus (Helen) and sisters Betty Karas (Robert), Charlene Wallace (Tom), Shirley Hofmaster (Gerald), Donna Smith (Chuck), Bonnie Rantz (Leon), Lois Kinnison (Archie), 6 of his 7 children, Vicki Fike (Jerry), Donna Fain (Gene), Ginni Sweeney (Ted), Carl Titus (Mary), Mat Titus (Jamie) and Seth Titus (Dawn), 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ed was a family man first and foremost. But his passion was in mechanics and farming. Ed was a man of the town, helping many with small engine needs for years.
Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
