Gary C. Curtis

Gary C. Curtis, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday August 2, 2021. He was born January 31, 1943 in California to Charles 'Bud' and Stella Curtis.

Gary grew up in Fair Oaks, California and joined the United States Air Force in 1961. He was a Vietnam Veteran and spent most of his years in Mountain Home where he then retired in 1982. After retiring he worked for Boeing, where he spent many years working in Saudi Arabia.

Gary was an outdoors-man and loved to hunt the Owyhees and fish down in Bruneau on the Snake River. Gary was a collector of many things, but collecting golf balls was his passion. If you ever needed to find him, you could almost always find him at Desert Canyon Golf Course where he had worked for the last several years. He was always the nicest man in the room and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Charles, mother Stella, and brother Keith.

He is survived by his son Chad and is wife Cassandra Curtis, and grandchildren, Daysen, Lilyann and Stella.

No memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
