Varsity Wrestling

The Varsity Wrestling team took 4th place at district on Saturday, Feb 20. Ending up with 6 wrestlers moving on to the state tourney.

The state tourney will start on Friday Feb. 26 @ Idaho Center in Nampa. Good luck!

District placers were who are moving on to state:

• Daniel Martinez placed 3rd at 106 pounds.

• Gabe Martinez placed 4th at 106 pounds.

• Landon Georgianna placed 2nd at 138 pounds.

• Christian Hodges placed 3rd at 170 pounds.

• Marcus Robinson placed 2nd at 182 pounds.

• Demetri Smith placed 2nd at 220 pounds.

Placers who did not get an at large bid were:

• Caison Emkey placed 6th at 113 pounds.

• Jayden Everett placed 6th at 126 pounds.

• Wesley Hodges placed 6th at 195 pounds.
