American Legion Oratorical Contest Winner

On 16 January 2019, American Legion Posts 101 & 26 held their annual High School Oratorical Scholarship Program – “A Constitution Speech Contest.” Mercedez Mason, right, won the competition and will advance to the state final on 16 February 2019 in Meridian. Jailyn Figueroa, left, placed a close second. Both of these young ladies did an awesome job and impressed their audience.
