Commissioners meet with representatives of GFHC and U.S. Ecology
On Jan. 11, the Elmore County Commissioners met to discuss ongoing issues over who will provide ambulance services for Elmore County and Glenns Ferry Health Clinics role in possible changes to the ambulance services provided in Glenns Ferry. The Vice President of US Ecology was also on hand to discuss how the employees and company are striding towards reopening after the tragic explosion in November.
Mary Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer of Glenns Ferry Health Center, spoke to the board about the clinic being an active participant in assisting the county with upcoming changes to ambulance services. The Commissioners are looking to collaborate with the clinic to help sustain services at a reduced cost.
