Montepeque pleas ‘not guilty’

On Dec. 17, 2018 Abner Montepeque was arraigned for two cases. Montepeque pled not guilty on three counts of rape of a child under 16 by force in the first case. He also pled not guilty on five counts of sexually exploitative material of a child.

The state motioned for the two cases to be combined for trial to which the defense agreed. The trial is expected to last for three days and is scheduled for May 7,9, and 10, 2019.
