Mountain Home Phantoms wrap up first official season

As the school year creeps closer, the American Legion Post 26 baseball season ends, marking their first season as the Mountain Home Phantoms.
The 2017 season was a rejuvenation, according to Tim Hobgood, president of the non-profit organization. Ditching the Mountain Home Royals name, players donned the purple and orange jerseys to become the Phantoms - a "dedication" to the F-4, according to Tim Hobgood.
"We're trying to bridge the gap between the legion and the high school," Tim Hobgood said.
